Biography
Daphna Sadeh-Neu is an internationally acclaimed double bassist, composer, and bandleader whose work seamlessly blends jazz, world music, Baroque, and contemporary influences. With four critically acclaimed albums released on leading UK and US labels, including John Zorn’s Tzadik Records, she has earned recognition for her innovative compositions and captivating performances. Having toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States, Daphna continues to push musical boundaries through collaborations with exceptional artists from around the world.
Knud Stüwe is a gifted oud player, composer, and arranger whose distinctive style has established him as one of the instrument’s rising voices. Combining technical mastery with expressive originality, he creates music that bridges traditional Middle Eastern sounds with contemporary classical and jazz influences. His acclaimed collaborations, including performances with the Ligeti Quartet, have earned praise from some of the world’s leading musicians, making him a sought-after performer on the international stage.
